A second study from the Nielsen Company discovered that 25% of 1,599 Americans surveyed during October had watched on the internet episodes of a TV program in the past three months.
Both of these studies show the increasing popularity of streaming TV Shows on the Internet.
Out of the major networks ABC.com (50%), NBC.com (41%), CBS.com (37%), and Fox.com (24%) were the most widely viewed. Other internet sites such as YouTube (17%) and iTunes (15%) were also viewed, but less frequently.
